What is a "collar pitch roof"?

Our Answer:

Roof pitch refers to the number of inches of rise per linear run of the roof. In other words, if you drew a perfectly level 12 inch line out from the roof surface, the rise would be the number of inches that you would measure down to the roof from that 12 inch point.
