I have a chimney with a 7 x 11 clay liner and would like to reline with the 4848-op oval rigid insulated pipe from the factory. I noticed it is 4 3/4 wide. What is the length of the oval part? If it is less than 11 in, I would very much like to install

Our Answer:

This particular oval liner has an O.D. measurement of 10 3/4 inches on the long side, so it would fit your application. This is an excellent product for longer chimney relines, due to its factory insulation and sturdy double wall construction. The oval tee for this liner assembly measures 6 7/16 inches from the back of the tee to the end of the horizontal takeoff. As such, you should have no problem installing the tee to make the attachment to your stove.

If it is less than 11 in, I would very much like to install it in my 7 x 11 clay liner. Would this work in my chimney? My chimney is about 28 to 30 ft. down to the horizontal outlet to stove.
