We would like to use this for a family gathering area during hunting seasons, does heat cause any damage to the material of the shelter?

Our Answer:

The manufacturer states you cannot use open flame devices inside the shelter and that you cannot expose top or sides of the shelter to open fire or other flame source. They do not have any recommendations on other heat sources.
