Does it matter how far it sticks out into the room. I think if it sticks out into the room that it radiates more heat into the room

Our Answer:

The key issues when looking at the purchase of a Wood Burning Fireplace Insert is the size of the opening it will be placed into. The minimum required clearances to combustibles. We have units with or without blowers. We also suggest that you consider the size of the area you are wanting to heat. The further you can adjust the insert into the room will increase the radiated heat from the unit.
