What is the difference between the Caravan Displayshade and the Traveler. Do they both have a 7 feet clearance? What is the weight of the frame and the top of the Displayshade?

Our Answer:

The difference in these two models is the material of construction and the folded size. The Caravan Traveler folds down to a shorter size so it can fit in most standard car trunks. It has a hybrid steel-aluminum frame, whereas the Caravan DisplayShade has an all-steel frame. The Traveler frame weighs about 33 lbs while the DisplayShade frames weighs about 48 lbs. They both use the same polyester top, which weighs about 10 lbs.
