I am interested in this outdoor fireplace but confused about the dimensions: Actual Dimensions: 53 1/8" W x 52 78" H x 26 3/8" D. Does this mean the entire fireplace, including the chimney portion? Framing Dimensions: 53 5/8" W x 53 1/8" H x 27 7

Our Answer:

The viewing area does indeed refer to the actual opening of the fireplace, while the framing dimensions refer to the size of the 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 enclosure that would need to be built to contain the metal chassis of the box. The actual dimensions are the measurements of the outside of the metal firebox chassis. This does not include the necessary chimney pipe that needs to be purchased to finish the unit.

Framing Dimensions: 53 5/8" W x 53 1/8" H x 27 7/8" D. I'm not sure what this means. Viewing Area: 27" W x 44" H - 1,188 sq. in. Is this the size of the actual opening?
