Our Answer:

The power outlet required is a standard 110 volt plug, mounted into a single gang switch box. Normally, the rheostat control would be mounted at the bottom of the fireplace, behind the louvers. However, it is possible to splice into and extend the wiring for the rheostat, allowing you to mount it higher on the wall.

Does the controller switch for the blower mount directly on the front of the fireplace unit, or do I need to provide either a single or double gang outlet box for the controller switch/switches?
