Our Answer:

This periscope vent pipe is slightly larger in depth at 2.5 inches. I am assuming that the washing machine cannot be pushed any further over? If not, you have two options. The first would be to relocate the dryer outlet to the back wall. The second would be to remove some of the baseboard in the back corner, to allow some extra clearance for the periscope. However, this may not even be necessary if you run the periscope horizontally, above the baseboard, then connect the flex duct to the end of the periscope and route it to the dryer outlet. A lot will depend on where the outlet is located on the dryer.

Can the periscope pipe connect to a flexible aluminum vent pipe?
