What kind of installation is required for this fireplace? Does the gas have to be piped in or is it a canister?

Our Answer:

This particular model is a wall-mounted vent-free fireplace (the wall-mounting plate is included). The fuel (natural gas or propane) for the fireplace must indeed be piped to the unit. Napoleon does offer a somewhat similar vent-free fireplace that uses a fuel tray filled with ethanol.
