Our Answer:

Usually, further crimping the pipe will eliminate this issue. Because that did not work, the only other option would be to trim the male end of the elbow and allow the metal to slightly overlap, then crimp it further. We do not offer a female to male adapter that would be small enough to fit inside the 7 3/4 inch opening already.

In Response to Question:

I have an old fisher stove with the 8 inch flue collar on the back. I replaced the stove pipe but discovered that the crimped ends are facing up because the 8 inch crimped end of the elbow does not fit inside the flue collar, which is actually 7 3/4 inches in diameter. I had the crimped end re-crimped but it still would not fit. So I had to replace everthing crimped end facing up again. Is there any type of adapter that will help my situation?
