Should this type of regulator be used outdoors, attached to propane tank that is used for a converted-to-propane gas range?

Our Answer:

This regulator is designed primarily for indoor use and to step down pressure for gas log sets and gas fireplaces. Outdoor propane cylinders require a particular type of zinc coated regulator that must be rated to a much higher pressure. Typically, the pressure rating is listed at 250 to 350 PSI for a propane cylinder.
