Exactly how long is this awning? I'm looking for something that is 16' to 17' long. Also, I intend to build a frame for this, instead of mounting it to my house. What will I need for this mounting?

The closest sizes for this awning are 16' or 18'. The awning comes standard with wall brackets. Eave and roof mount brackets are available for purchase separately.
