My son has a circulating fireplace that was installed around 20 years ago and he wants fireplace doors. First of all, how do we determine the make of the fireplace box, and what do we measure to see if your universal doors would work for him?

Our Answer:

There are a number of locations where the build tag may be located on the unit: 1. On the exterior smoke shelf. Left or right side. 2. Within the fireplace interior, on the upper left or right side behind the fireplace screens. 3. In the void space beneath the fireplace floor. If you are not able to find the information, universal doors would indeed be the next option. Please measure the overall width and height of just the opening. This would determine the proper doors for your needs.
