I would like to paint the black metal facade of my fireplace (original from a 1985 construction). It's scratched and the silver is showing through in many areas. Do I need to buff and prime before using your paint product?

Our Answer:

It is recommended that you thoroughly clean the surround before painting. Please see below for a recommendation for flat and satin black paint options: Stove Bright Flat Black Paint - 43205 Stove Bright Satin Black Touch Up Paint - 43200
