What makes the Timberwolf so cost effective? Are the parts are cheaper, or not as many parts are included? Does not burn as well as it says? Is it true these new stoves hold the heat and burn slower?

Our Answer:

Napoleon developed the Timberwolf line of stoves as a more affordable alternative to their existing line of stoves. The Timberwolf platform is one similar to the Ford Model T - no frills, the stoves work well and burn fuel efficiently, but they are only available in the dressed down all black finish. This focus on performance over aesthetics is the driver of the reduced price. Yes, stoves available today are indeed much more efficient than their older counterparts.
