I'm looking for a fireplace insert for a zero clearance wood burning fireplace. I like the Napoleon brand and wanted to know if Napoleon had any options I could use and if they were UL approved?

Our Answer:

The Napoleon fireplace inserts we carry are tested and listed by InterTek, which is a testing agency similar to UL. However, the inserts must be installed into a properly maintained masonry fireplace or approved zero clearance manufactured fireplace. They are not designed to be built into a combustible enclosure. This is the case with most wood burning fireplace inserts and with all models that we carry.
