I am trying to find information about the standard refractory firebrick liner. Is it a painted finish, or ceramic? Could you please send me more information on this liner?

Our Answer:

Conventional refractory brick liners are manufactured from a combination of refractory cement, sodium silicate, and other reinforcing materials. There is no finishing paint or other materials added to most of these liners and they dry to a standard concrete gray color. More information can be found on our cut to fit liners on this item page: Fireplace Refractory Panel.
