Our Answer: An aluminum liner can be used to vent a gas furnace as long as the liner is being routed through an existing masonry chimney. Flue gases from a gas furnace are not corrosive enough to warrant the use of a stainless steel liner. From Section Page: DirectVent Pro Chimney Liners ID: directvent-pro-chimney-liners | |
