Our Answer:

The NPL-BGD36CFNTR is a great unit however it's BTU rating is a bit lower than your preferred 24,000. Also, you can add-on a blower but it does not have a louvered front. Additionally, you do have the option to add-on decorative brick panels to this unit. In doing so, you would be limited to top vent only. Another unit you may be interested in is our Innsbrook - CUI-DV25IN33LN. You may view it here: Innsbrook Small Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert - Natural Gas This unit comes with a blower, louvered front, ceramic brick liner and log set with variable flame height control. It produces 25,000 BTU. You may add-on remote. Please note that it also requires the addition of a surround. This unit is a top vent only. Unfortunately, the part numbers you listed at the bottom of your email are not familiar to us. We'd be happy to work up a chimney quote for you if you'd like.

In Response to Question:

I am trying to replace a zero C fireplace with a NG insert or complete fireplace exchange. That may mean I may be looking for about a 32-36 in fireplace. The current fireplace has external dimensions of 40 + x 32 + . Looking for around 24000 BTU. I want a direct vent fireplace with variable flame, with remote that controls temp, . with blower, with brick backs and logs. I could either go up a one story chimney or directly out the wall. For the front I guess I need louvers? I want something to chase the black maybe a brass or pewter border. No real door covers. I want a clean look. From a local place I have added the following parts 1- SV 4-12. In addition I may need a surround. 1- sv4 E90 1 SV4 L6 1- SV4 LA 1 SV4 RSM thimble 1-SV4 CHC What do you suggest?
