I have a Bay 36 Majestic gas fireplace that vents out the rear. It is surrounded by windows and book cases. It is rusting out and needs to be replaced. Would this model be an appropriate replacement? An if so, where do I find installers?

Our Answer:

To be sure that this fireplace would be a suitable replacement, I would encourage you to check the owner's manual to make sure the dimensions of this unit would work with your current set-up for the Bay 36. You can find the framing dimensions and clearance requirements in the manual, which you can download on this item page. Please make sure to look at the framing dimensions for the 400DVBH, as they also list the dimensions for another model fireplace in this manual. As for installers, I would encourage you to visit the website for the National Fireplace Institute to check for certified specialists in your area.
