My question is whether the plug has 2 or 3 prongs? The fireplace I have has the connection there and is only for 2 prongs, but most of the pictures are for 3.

Our Answer:

These blowers (and all blowers from Napoleon for that matter) have just two leads coming from their motor. One is designated for the thermodisc switch and the other is intended for a variable speed switch. Leads from these switches would then run to a junction box on your appliance. Upon installation, you would simply hardwire power to that pre-installed junction box on your appliance. There is no pre-attached plug for these blowers to simply be plugged into a wall outlet.
