Our Answer:

You could use an oval to round flex reline pipe for the beginning of your vent run. This pipe features an oval end and length that will squeeze through your damper opening and attach to your insert. The other end of the pipe is round and will attach directly to a longer length of round DuraLiner to complete the venting run. Please follow the below link. I have an insert with a rectangle shaped exhaust hole. My question is can i order my 6" round liner with the last 2-3 feet ovalized to fit the 8" ovalized boot and to accommodate a narrow flue opening that is just a bit less than 5 1/2" inches wide? Or would it be a better fit if i used a similar boot with the 6" round opening and just manipulate the 6" round liner through the narrowed flue opening? Also are there any more connectors that I will need or does the liner just clamp up to the boot opening?
