Could this be used to clean a 35 foot stove pipe from the ground up? I have a fireplace insert and need to clean the 6" pipe from inside the house. So the pipe needs to bend to go up the pipe which is only 2 feet above the ground?

Our Answer:

This rod could clean a liner from the bottom up, however it will be difficult to do this from inside the insert. Most inserts will not allow direct access to the flue collar and you must slide the insert out of it's opening to gain access to the flue liner for cleaning. Once the insert has been temporarily removed, you should have plenty of space to utilize these rods for your application. Keep in mind that these are light duty rods, so they will not be a good choice for frequent use. If you clean multiple times a season, the 59F rods would be a better choice.
