Our Answer:

Unfortunately, class A chimney manufacturers do not provide adapters that will make their components interchangeable. The only way to make Simpson Duravent piping work with the Air Jet chimney would be to have an adapter custom made by a sheet metal fabricator. The Air Jet chimney would have to be completely replaced otherwise, as they do not allow an L-vent (pellet pipe) product to be used with their chimney line.

In Response to Question:

The builder of our new home installed 6" "Airjet" triple chimney pipe from the basement ceiling support box through the roof. The air jet pipe is flush with the box in the basement. The pipe has a groove inside the pipe about 3' from the end where the pipe locks together. I wish to install a pellet stove that has a 3" outlet. I plan to use Duravent piping from the outlet of the stove to the 6" airjet chimney pipe. I need to find an adapter set up and pipe to make this work for me. So far I have not been able to find an adapter that advertises as a connection from Duravent to airjet. Can you help?
