We have the flue open but the smoke alarms continue to go off. What are we doing wrong?

Our Answer: If you have already checked the obvious issues - flue size, flue blockage, etc., then you may need to look into getting a smoke guard such as this: SmokeGuard 8 in. Smoke Rollout Eliminator in Black We would recommend checking the owner's manual of your fireplace to make sure your venting is up to specifications.
