I am interested in 2 Monessen 32 inch fireplace systems, propane fired, with cottage clay firebrick and the triple system. Please explain to me the difference between the DBX, DFS, and DBX systems.

Our Answer:

The Monessen DBX units are only available in a 24" size. Between the DFS and DFX, the DFS is the larger, warmer fireplace. The DFS is capable of up to 34,000 BTU and is suitable for spaces as large as 2200 square feet. The DFX can produce only 26,000 BTU for 1650 square feet. Please follow the below links to compare the two. Neither includes firebrick or blower but these items are available as accessories.
