can I use this to spray the inside of a woodburning fireplace. Not sure what the temperature will get to. Will it flake or burn off?

Our Answer:

Unfortunately, this product would not be able to withstand the heat on the inside of a wood burning fireplace. The paint would quickly discolor and eventually peel. The only product that we currently have that can withstand the interior temperatures is this item: Thurmalox Low-Sheen Black Paint - 12 oz. Spray Can This paint is formulated to stand the heat produced by a wood burning stove or fireplace and would be suitable to paint metal panels in a manufactured fireplace.
