I have a brick chimney which has a ceramic liner. Do I need to have another liner installed or is it sufficient as is?

Our Answer:

You will need a listed stainless steel 6" liner for this insert. Here are a couple of options: DuraFlex SS Stainless Steel Chimney Liner - 6 inch x 25-ft. This has a 25-foot length, we also have it available in 15-, 20-, 30-, and 35-foot lengths as well. You will also need an insert component kit like this: DuraFlex SS Insert Kit for 6 inch Chimney Liner Also, if your chimney area is twice as big as this 6" liner, you will need insulation for your liner, such as the following: 6 inch x 25-ft. HomeSaver UltraPro Chimney Liner Insulation Kit
