We have a new napoleon 1402, this is our first winter. Is it normal to just leave the blower fan plugged into the wall, with the switch on even when we are not burning wood? Seems the fan cycles on and off quite a bit when the fire is getting hotter...

Our Answer:

Leaving the fan plugged in and on will have no negative effect on your unit - even if it does cycle on and off frequently. However, if you'd prefer for the fan not to run, then by all means turn it off until you are ready for it to run.
