Would this work for a wood stove? If not, is there anything you would suggest?

Our Answer:

Every model of fire back that we currently carry has been designed for installation into a traditional, open faced fireplace. The temperatures achieved by a closed combustion wood stove would damage a fire back, even a stainless model such as this one. Please advise what you mean to accomplish by using the fire back. We may have another option.
