If the charcoal paint on the front of the fireplace begins to peel, what can you use to repaint? Also, is it still okay to burn the fireplace with the paint peeling? Thanks!

Our Answer:

You can indeed continue to use the unit if the facade paint begins to peel, as it is a non flammable paint. If the paint begins to peel, the face of the unit can be redone with any of our high heat paint products. A good product to use would be this: Stove Bright Satin Black Touch Up Paint For best results, it will be necessary to strip the entire face of the unit of paint, then clean the surface and paint with light, even coats.
