I need to completely replace the chimney and chimney cap on my wood-burning stove. I need about five feet of pipe. Do I understand that I can buy 2 pieces of this and put them together into a single chimney? I don't exactly understand your measurements.

Our Answer: This chimney pipe does indeed feature a 6" inner diameter measurement. It's outer diameter is 10". This pipe is priced per length. The price shown is for a 6" length. The longer lengths have an additional cost. This is represented by the value in parentheses after any of the pipe lengths. This pipe is designed with twist-lock connections on both ends. These connections allow multiple pieces of pipes to be connected together to form a longer continuous length of chimney pipe. Also, a fellow who gave me an estimate for an exorbitant price said the chimney was 6" diameter, by which I assume he meant inner diameter since the existing chimney is more than 6". So this is the pipe I want to buy, but I need to know for sure whether I can use just one pipe or need 2. Thanks for your time.
