I have a Dutchwest stove (Federal). It's about 8' from the top of the stove to the ceiling. What pipe and or adaptors will I need? This stove is going in my shop. Nothing fancy. Will it all ship free? I know I have to add flashing to that kit - the roof

Our Answer:

Wood stoves are pretty easy to vent. We'd start you out with an appliance adaptor to get the run started. We'd then use either single or double wall stove pipe up to the ceiling. We'd transition to chimney pipe at the ceiling through a round ceiling support. Then, if there were an attic, we'd pass the chimney pipe through an attic insulation shield before exiting the roof and finishing it off with a flashing, storm collar and cap. If you'd like to reply with the diameter of your flue outlet, whether or not you have an attic (and its height), and your ZIP code, we'd be happy to work up a quote for you. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
