Can this ventless fireplace be enclosed on both sides, and how do you control the temperature? Do you have to have a gas line to install this ventless fireplace? I have a wall that separates my family room and office and would like to install the ventl

Our Answer:

This vent free firebox cannot be enclosed on either side as this would prevent the fire from operating properly. Being that this is only a firebox, no burner assembly or logset is included as shown. To control the temperature would depend on the vent-free logset that you choose to place in the firebox. To install this fireplace properly, you would need to have a rigid gas line run from either an existing natural gas or liquid propane supply. Being that this firebox is a peninsula design, it is open on three sides. You would need to find a see through firebox or fireplace such as the Breckenridge Premium Vent-Free See-Thru Flush Gas Firebox.

I have a wall that separates my family room and office and would like to install the ventless fireplace so you can see it on either side, would this unit accomplish that?
