This screen has an overall width of 52 inches, with the center section measuring approximately 31 inches across. Most of our 3 panel screens measure 48 to 56 inches in total width. You may consider using a smaller single panel screen instead. Otherwise, the side panels of the screen would need to be folded inward at a fairly steep angle. You may be interested in using a model such as the UniFlame Single Panel Mission-Style Black Wrought Iron Fireplace Screen. While the screen would still overlap the perimeter of your fireplace, it would not jut as far into the room as a 3 panel would.
