My townhome has a fire sprinkler system. Can burning ethanol set off alarm or sprinkler system?

Our Answer:

If proper clearances are maintained to any of the sprinkler controls or the heads themselves, you will not have a problem. Ethanol is a very clean burning, lower BTU output fuel. The small amount of supplemental heat produced would not affect the system.
