I have a Dexex Electronic Ignition Valve Wall Adapter. I am trying to get it to work. I thought that once the adapter was plugged in it converted 110v to the 3v power that the ignitor needed. That doesn't happen. how do I get this thing wired to work?

Our Answer:

This item is indeed a transformer that converts 110 volts AC to 3 volts DC. If the transformer is not testing to produce 3 volts DC when plugged in, it is likely defective. Replacement of the transformer, or use of another transformer with the same specifications would be needed.
