I have a masonry chimney which has vented my water heater for years with no liner and worked perfectly. The gas company has installed a new heater and says I must line the chimney. Will this B Gas Vent Pipe work for that application?

As long as your water heater is listed for use with Type B gas vent pipe, then you can indeed use it. Please check this in your owner's manual (or by checking with the manufacturer) to ensure proper listing and compatibility.
